It must've been sometime in the mid 1970s I was going through a precocious experimental phase and did some bizarre Sonny Sharrock/Derek Bailey imitation on my 335 and I guess the muse must've gotten seriously offended and just abandoned me.:hihi:

There are probably other instances but luckily one doesn't always realize when it's happening. :D

I don't get it, having a less than great computer has f**k all to do with prolificness surely?
I churn them out like butter (during creative spells) , sometimes i can't do anything at all, it comes and goes like the weather.
The meagre spells are far more frequent though  but I've never felt that me having a G4 400 MhZ has any part in it.

my problem is I get sounds and beats in my head, but I'm not good enough at synthesis. I can program the beats but they don't sound right without the SOUND that I'm hearing in my head....but I'm don't have a clue regarding how to build some of these sound that I can imagine. Need a brain to xlr interface.

I frequently think I'm making music but it turns out to be turgid shite. My best tunes have not yet been written (not by me anyway).

I found this book on Amazon that you might be interested in. I haven't read it yet myself, but I perused it using Amazon's Search Inside feature and it looks like it might be helpful!
