Plugin descriptions?

I'm just learning the Receptor for a talented but technophobic friend. (He bought B4 last august but couldn't figure out how to download it.) Actually, he realizes this thing is way more than he needs and I'll probably end up buying it from him. I have a couple of REALLY basic questions:
1. Is there a resource online somewhere at museresearch or plugorama or kvraudio that contains a basic description of the included plugins? I could go through them individually, but I'm trying to save time. Plugs like "Cheeze Machine", "Enigmatron", "JG-3" and "sfz" are hardly descriptive.
What do the prefixes 00 and ## mean before some of the plug ins? I think the ## is for a 30 day demo, but things like M-Tron and Oddity which have 00 in front of there names don't open at all.
2. Where do I assign MIDI controller data, specifically control/expression pedal? It doesn't seem to be in the Midi editing window of each source.

I believe you're right with the ## meaning 30 day demo. 00 would mean that the 30 days or X uses are up. It's deactivated and you might as well deinstall those plugins.
