control channel volume with CV pedal?

How do I assign an expression pedal to control an instrument channel's level in
the mixer? I think it's controller 7, but where do I select that? I'd think it
would be in the MIDI filter window but not i'm not seeing it.

I have a CME UF7 controller keyboard. Using my expression pedal, I change it's midi cc on the actual keyboard. Never gone into the Receptor side of picking the cc.

I'm using a Nord Electro for a controller (at least for now). Good standalone board-lousy MIDI. It states on page 182 of the Receptor manual that " MIDI CC 7 (0 - 127) on the INST CH controls the volume." with a little red arrow pointing to the fader. I just can't seem to figure out HOW or where to assign it.
