Great specs!!Hink wrote:CPU: Intel Core2 Duo E6700 2.66GHzA3ntar wrote:What are your new computer specs Hink?Hink wrote:okay now this thread is well passed 300 pages and things have changed for me drastically in the last couple of weeks for me. This new computer revealed something cool a few nights ago, low, low latency. With my new soundcard I got amplitube le...no big deal, but I tried it being very skeptical. It in itself didn't do much for me, however with my card running at 3ms I was getting low enough latencies that I was not bothered by it. TBH this shocked me because I really was biased. I was running vsampler, B4II, minimonsta, DFHs all in FL...not the heaviest load but enough to impress me...now I guess I'll have to try Amplitube
Motherboard: ASUS Core2 Duo Motherboard
Memory: 2GB DDR2-800 : 2x1GB (expandable to 8GB)
VGA card: ATI Radeon X300SE 128MB DVI/VGA
Primary Hard Drive: 160GB SATA II (Primary Drive)
Audio Hard Drive: 500GB SATA II (Audio Drive)
Monitor: 22" Samsung Widescreen
Soundcard: Emu 1820m
How is your EMU1820m treating you? I heard some instabilities with the drivers under XP. But this was a while ago, maybe they resolved them.

I like it better than my PODxt. No foolin'
I still love my PODXTL best for high gains, although for cleans and mild distortion, AT2 still can't be beat.
I am closely watching Revalver MKII though.
tomg, what is your signal chain like from the guitar to AT2? ( any DI? what is your sound card? ... )

I spoted at IKM site Amplitube Uno FREE, but i can get it to download.
It seems to be a "Tube Lead" standalone, the yummiest bit of AT2 IMO.
Squids be a pal and correct the AT uno link, please.

It looks like that is a pre amplitube 2 product that was released back in 2005. http://namm.harmony-central.com/SNAMM05 ... e-UNO.html
I also found the page on the IK site. It just links to the download page. I imagine that this page wasn't meant to be there anymore. I think that someone just forgot to delete it off of the server. It definitely isn't a part of AT2. Check out the link to the Harmony Central review above.
