i doubt that a "mediocre" VSTi can generate 90 pages of thread...
Oatmeal is MUCH more than mediocre.

How about it Grymmjack? Can Glassback add your stuff to creat a single all in one downloadable archive?

A couple pages back I posted a bug I've encountered using Oatmeal in Buzz. Just to recap it quickly, Oatmeal seems to crash Buzz when pressing the Random button. Just like the Random button generates random presets - it also randomly locks-up my VST host program (Buzz). The only thing I can do is CTRL+ALT+DEL to stop the program. If anyone else is experiencing this problem or if it can or has been fixed in the new version could you please let me know.
I appreciate all the work you've put into Oatmeal and the sounds you can create with it are simply amazing. If only it didn't crash on me now and again.

I personally would love to have the convenience of an Oatmeal-37-4-full-pack.zip file that easily unzips everything in its proper place.

You're right! I never saw *any* VSTi generating pages in the KVR forum beforelateralus778 wrote:i doubt that a "mediocre" VSTi can generate 90 pages of thread...

sure glassback, add the skins at your leisure. they are in the public domain, free for the whateverGlassback wrote:hehe, thanks Tonmann, I was just gonna link to that. Had a bit of updating to do on the first post there first though. Updated now apart from the grymmjack stuff (which I'll gladly add if grymmjack wants me to).Tonmann wrote:Wrong! Have a look over here.cheul wrote:Well now all that is missing is tons of killers patches that take advantage of the synth. I sure can't make presets that make use of its full potential.

Your dream gets real, audiojunkie ! Here it is :I personally would love to have the convenience of an Oatmeal-37-4-full-pack.zip file that easily unzips everything in its proper place.

And everything you dream of is on this page
You are perfectly right, Moe Shinola : Nolwenn is the best patch maker i know ! The french touch...I just got the newest version awhile ago since I learned that Nolwenn made 2 banks for it. I am using it w/ Minhost and Sonar 3 and it's been giving me audio pops and crackles, especially w/ Minihost. Anybody else get this? I know I should have looked at the entire thread but it is quite long and in the last few pages there's not a peep about this. Oh, and let me just take this opportunity to swoon over the talents of Nolwenn - She rocks!
About problems in Minihost, you are right too, and there is also another bug too : when you change the skin, parameters work, but not the buttons and other controls... Everything refuses to move...
So, i use Cantabile Lite now, not so easy to use, not as stable as Minihost, but Oatmeal works fine with it, and you can change the skin without problem.
I hope it helps...

Hello, as i said in the "Glassback thread", i decided to make it easier to use : i converted all the fxb patches in omb patches, and the few omb patches in fxb patches... So, you can open all the patches via Oatmeal or via your vst host, as you want... fxb are in a subfolder named "fxb" (amazing, isn't it ?), in the Oatmeal banks folder. Be happy...

I've thrown the link to Oatmeal up a few times for people, but never actually paid attention to the page...there's quite a bit of necessary info missing (notably a link to the synth itself)... http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2237.html i'd also like to review it, so i think fuzzpilz should no longer consider it a beta (especially since it is stabler than some synths in their second/third/fourth... revision
).

Kvr has loads of non-beta vst's labelled as being in Beta.
Not that there'd be a lot more reviews otherwise though, most likely

I think it's as simple as sending an email to Ben, including any information you wish to be updated/included/excluded. Anyone know the exact protocol for this?Fuzzpilz wrote:I really have nothing to do with that description - I didn't put it in, and have no idea how to amend it.
Anyway, the missing links weren't to do with KVR, they are there, my adblock has been playing up (i have KVR on a whitelist, but for some reason i'm still having issues with it....ads being in places they shouldn't bet, links missing when they should be there etc).
