I have added a few more paragraphs to explain the connection between MIDI and VST Plugins. I hope this will help get first contact people over this BUMP.
This now includes the fact that many drum synths look for midi data on channel 10 altho this is never a hard and fast rule.
If you can think of any other areas that need a more in depth explanation, I will be happy to add some more material.
The midi hookups are pretty detailed in the section of Recording Midi data.

If only more, or all, manuals that actually came with the software were as easy to understand. Or rather, could actually BE understood, as this is.
