Ah, Synthedit...! :( Well, hm, someone should make a converter or something like that so that people, like me and a lot of others, can do Synthedit VST Instruments on Mac! :D

That would be great!
It's bound to happen at some point.

Yeah, maybe someone read this and start doing this! ;) The best way would be ofcourse if Synthedit can do this ofcourse, making Plugins for Mac und PC...

Well, i listen to the mp3 demo really often right now, Jack R and I really like the sound, it sounds a bit like a Wavedrum and I like that Hardware toy as I sayed...! Well, good work..

Thanks. It actually gives me the "Live is shutting down" error message as soon as it loads.

Well, I just tested it using the Live6 demo, and had no problems. It actually ran pretty smooth. I tried the Cerebrum demo and full version simultaneously and still had no problems. What version of Windows are you using? Do you have any problems using other Synthedit plugins? What about Cubix?
I'm running XP Pro 2GB RAM. I have had no problems with other Synthedit plugins or any of your other plugins, for that matter...

Hmmmm...

Sorry you're having problems using Cerebrum, I'll keep running tests with Live, and hopefully figure something out. But as of now I cant even force it into crashing.

Thanks. I'm actually running Windows Media Center 2005 not XP Pro. Think that's an issue?

Jeff (synthedit) told me it's a possibility to port SE to Mac in the future, perhaps if enough Mac users offer to register SynthEdit?

Post

Well, I'm sure that a lof of Mac Users wanna see this or other Drum Player on the Mac.. Jeff (Synthedit) should try that out...

It's possible, but I just had another user email me about the same problem, I'll wait and see what his system specs are. Also, there's a wierd crackling problem with some ASIO drivers. This might possibly be linked somehow, what driver do you use?

I just recently had time to start riding this pony.

It's been a fun ride so far. :)

Still haven't really wrapped my head around all of it yet, but this is a nice and deep rabbit hole.

Sounds GREAT. Interface is a tweakfestical orgy.

Gripes so far? Not many. The VST takes a longggg time to load in FL Studio, and there's a second of pause time when switching presets in FL as well. This probably has to do with loading and dumping samples I'd imagine.

Other than that, I can't say a damned thing negative about this new tricktastic drumsynth. Other than perhaps... BUY IT RIGHT NOW DAMN YOU ALL.

:)
