I did another DKS demo in 5 minutes in which you can hear some of the preset of the DKS. I also used ManyOne for the bass line.
Not a great piece of music just a sound demo.

Well I have been waiting for PM drums like the v-drums? Will the membrane be modelled as well as the shell?

DKS is an oscillator based synthesizer and there is no concept of "membrane" in it.
Only the shell can be modelled, and it can give a nice "acoustic touch" to the sounds produced by the oscillators.

cool...

i had always wondered what the heck happened to AK1.

i beta-tested the hell out of it, but couldn't make it crash or glitch. after a while i gave up on the mailing list, and just figured it was discontinued. I am happy to see it lives

although i am a bit of a sucker for all things modular, this looks like it covers all of ak1 and more.

on a side note, re: beta-testing:
i should get a crappy computer, so i can be a more effective beta-tester. my machine runs nearly everything like it was at version 25... tends to make me feel like a failure whenever i beta for someone
