Ok folks, I'm looking for a rompler vst that is specifically built for trance sounds. I want it to have a few gigs worth of sample material because that just shits on the 160 megs of a motif es. What rompler do you guys recommend?

I would also say Wusikstation but try to talk WilliamK into selling ya the first 3 magazines (WSM) as well as these have ElektroWusik which adds some fine sounds to the already nice Wusik package including the trance-tastic VipZone sounds.

Part of the ongoing debate, surrounding Nexus, seems to be about it's limited editing capabilities. If DaExpert wants a Rompler that he can tweak to his hearts content, then it may not be the best choice for him. If he just wants 4gbs of ready to go trance/dance type sounds, and doesn't want to be bothered with creating his own presets, it may be the ideal choice.

I gotta say, for trance/dance, Nexus is going to be your best bet.

And that being said I'm writing a bank of EDM presets for Zebra 2 that is made to be as usable as possible.

wusik now has dual arps, dual trance gates, 64-bit world class reverb, all kinds of insert fx, super unison to make those massively phat sounds, tons of filtering, envelope, synthesis and modulation editing, dual wave sequencers and 6 layers to insert your own wave files or the tons and tons of included samples - making it the best value (currently in a group buy for next to nothing $$$) and one of the best synths in existence.

I use it for almost everything.

Hmmm... so daExpert, who judging by his previous posts keeps up on what synths are available and has a good understanding of what their capabilities are... has recommended that "It would be better to not do trance"... and claims to "have more experience than everyone here"... suddenly is looking for advice from others, regarding a "trance" rompler with the exact specs that Nexus has to offer, only a week or so after it's release.

Things are just getting so strange around here lately.
