Hi DHR53
Great to hear the Mac version is working now for you. Fast service from Aldo today ;-)

More sounds you ask?
First the FreeZone which i mailed you about contains a whack of free stuff for our customers with more coming. Did you get the mail i sent?

Also our Two New Acoustic Bass Addons are presently Mac compatible as we offer them in Zip format.
The soundsets from these will be usable in ManyOne, but not the presets as we have not done a specific set for ManyOne yet. But as you see, it is pretty easy to create presets in ManyOne.

Also our UBK bass kit will load but presently it is only downloadable in Rar format, so you have to be able to handle rars on your mac for this.

All our soundsets from ManyStation and ManyGuitar will load also into ManyOne and we will be making them available in a soundset only package for you guys on the Mac that want them for ManyOne.
I'll try and sort this soon if there is enough interest for it. I was perhaps going to break it up into smaller more categorized sets so you could only purchase what you are after and not all of it in case some folks only want keys or some want guitars or what have you. Stay tuned as this is coming and will allow you to use some of our other great Samples on your Mac.

There is also a few other companies around like Dangerous Bear UnderGround and Nucleus Soundlab, who sell WusikSnds but again I am not sure that they have them in Zips for easy Mac use. (seems a lot of Mac users do not like rars)

Also you will see plenty more addons appear from us in the future.

Again, Glad to hear all is sorted there for you.
Thanks
Paul

I have the Eve 2 beta, which had a bunch of EVE sounds, and I had a set from John at Dangerous Bear, can those be used in ManyOne? Not sure what that means about using the Soundsets but not the presets? I guess the soundset is the raw samples??? Thanks again! Just got the e-mail about the free stuff. I'll check it out!!

Yes, you can use the raw samples (soundsets) but you cannot load the EVE2 presets (synthesizer settings).

To use EVE sounds in ManyOne (Mac Version) just move the entire eve data folder within the ASE-DashWusik folder (the folder that contains the samples).

At this point you will find the EVE sounds in the ManyOne sound browser.
The soundwizard (this was a little idea that came through my mind two years ago when developing EVE ONE) should be of great help here to build your own sounds.

Aldo.

So when do Eve One users get this email thingy ?

I just want to say that I think ALL VIs should have the efficient, elegant, and COOL design that is ManyOne Branis skin... Perfect size, great design, color... Damn, that's a good design! And The sound wizard/Fx wizard thing is just briliant! I realize this does not have the complexity of some big multi-sample engines, but the efficiency, simplicity and ease of getting useful sounds far outweigh the lack of features! Nice work! I just need a ton of sounds, and I may just use this for everything... :)

(Make more soundsets soon...) 8)

As soon as I get all the emails from Luigi and I organize them in a mailing list and send you all the info.
Luigi said he would have these to me right away. Remember, Official release is not until Monday, we just had it up on the website and ready a few days early.

If you know what you want you can also email your proof of Eve One purchase to me and we can sort it before the mailing.

Thanks DHR53! It is funny as some folks really like the default Amoebe skin. But that is why we give you a choice and you can use any or all of them ... I love em all :-) I actually find each skin inspires me differently.... Eve skin for that old classic real wood hardware feel, Branis skin for when I want that modern electro vibe, and Amoebe default skin for all other moods ;-)

(poor ToTc ;-) sorry Frank ...me love your presets too!)

And... you nailed the concept of ManyOne exact! It is not meant to be an Uber sampler but rather a fast and easy tool for composition with extremely low CPU usage. And it carries a fair, low price to go with that.

Cheers and you will see our ManyStation soundsets available very soon for ManyOne, which will be cool for you Mac users. (PC users can already load all the ManyStation soundsets into ManyOne)

I just want to point out that for Mac users our Manytone Mapper is also Free for you guys, for mapping your own samples, but it is PC based only. So if Mac users want to use this to map their own samples for ManyOne, they will have to do the mapping on the PC platform for now, and then move the sets to your Mac ManyOne sound folder after you create them, and they will then show up in your ManyOne Sound Browser

Sorry about this, but the ManyMapper is PC only, although Mac ManyOne customers can have it free if you can use it.

I 'm offline for the night now so any orders or questions, I'll attend to them in the morning. Also Eve One owners, your emails with the upgrade will go out tomorrow. (Monday)

Thanks

Just curious. What is that lead sound used on Demo3?

Thanks for asking. :)

It is preset 11-LED FS20 ToTc, which is based on the MS20 Pulse 50 soundset. In fact there are several ToTc presets in this track (thanks ToTc!).

I had great fun making this track. There are seven instances of ManyOne, and the CPU is pretty low throughout.

Thanks for the details on the track! I wish all the devs would list what presets were used when they post one of these demos for their products. Information is good. 8)

Hi all
Eve One owners have been sent their special offers via email.
I posted this info in our ManyTone forum but thought i had better post it here also for those of you following this thread:

Quote:
I have Emailed all the Eve One users with the upgrade info. If you have not received this email with your info there is a few reasons for this.
1) some emails bounced back as your email has changed since you purchased Eve One.

2)Some emails may go to spam boxes.

So ... Eve One Owners - if you have not received the Eve One to ManyOne email from us, then just email me with your EveOne purchase receipt or tell me your original email you purchased Eve One with and I will resend you the mail with your upgrade offers.

There you have it, done Monday as promised. ;-)

Just received the mail from you Paul the other day about this. I was out of town for weeks. The studio got a new plasma 50" and and a couple new digital slr cameras, but all i could play with was the new sub $50.00 manyone on our mac. I am so happy you went mac with this, as now all our Manytone sounds are now going on our macs here, which means i get to play with them more at work as well as on my home PC.

Manyone and your new basses (wow) were my christmas present to myself and i got work to pick up the manyone for mac too.
The thanks goes to you dude. Keep up the great work.
Best wishes to all at Manytone for 2007.

Radjo
(oh yeah, nice presets Frank and team)
