Just got a chance to play with this a bit, & I must say I quite like it so far. Thank you very much, Jack.

Indeed! I really do want to hear what people are doing with this one (that is if they can manage to make the demo .MP3s around 2 megs or so) as I might upload some of the demos to the NUCLEAR CRANIUM webpage along with the user quotes.cheul wrote:As always post your mp3s guys, make this forum musical !
I hope everybody enjoys! It will not be until next year that I release another VST. I'm too busy doing other things at the moment to release Iridesynth's Revenge until '07.

what a nice bonus!: i just wanted to stop in to thank Jack for another great Christmas present that will have to wait to get a work out...and Uncle bobsled has left another nice piece to add to the slowly growing bobsled music file
thanks to both you guys!
@ bobsled- this one has a very nice Badalamenti/Lynchian feel...needs to be longer of course...or have disturbing video to accompany
@ Jack-
... did get a spare 20mins to poke around with Nuclear Cranium...I'm still yet coming to grips with Motile and you pop out *this* gem as a gift?...wow.
I can't wait for the reworking of Iridesynth
Thanks and have a GREAT new year, All!

Thanks, blortblort. Wouldn't it be cool if everyone mentioned in the Nuclear Cranium About page posted their 2meg demo here? (hint-hint)
Dang, that'd be a lot of demos, eh?

Funny thing is, I actually finished Iridesynth's Revenge last month:blortblort wrote:I can't wait for the reworking of Iridesynth
Yet, I decided to go back and further enhance the GUI color cycling abililites, as well as tweak the phase distortion offsets a bit more. Yes, the new Iridesynth uses Phase Distortion Synthesis instead of Subtractive Synthesis. It's kind of like a hybrid of REZ2 and a NovaKiller synth I'd say, soundwise. I'm going to try to finish it up this weekend (the VST itself at least), though I'm still a bit burnt out from the NUCLEAR CRANIUM marathon = slower progress of late. Not to mention being thoroughly addicted to Planescape Torment. Man have I been missing out for the last seven years on that one. :p
Bobsled I will download your .MP3 when I get home, looking forward to it!
Holy @&%! my shirt actually has a bid!

Hi, Although the Man says in the readme
that better go to learn the basics first if you
don't get the plugin/presets working, I dear to ask:
how to activate the presets? I've moved also the .dat
file to my vst folder but still don't get this...

I took a little spin with your plug and found it very interesting to say the least, it will take some time to go through all the config/pram so I'll get back when I finish tweaking it, but from first looks and sound it's very nice imho and many thanks for it, peace...F2

Mckenic I have no idea what you've done but I'm looking forward to finding out.
Harry_HH what VST host are you using?

Are you talking about Steve Faulkner's Nuclear Cranium presets? These are a collection of separate .fxp, not a single .fxb. To load, select "open .fxp", not "open .fxb" in whatever host you are using.Harry_HH wrote:how to activate the presets?
Hmmm, don't remember, were these included as a zip file? If so, they must first be "un-zipped".
edit: cross post, sorry 'bout yer toes, Jack.
