Good reasoning however, I have Alpha3 CM. It was included on the cover disk of CM 107. Seems to be little more than a reskinned FreeAlpha with a couple of extra goodies. Although a good basic synth, if this is what you get with T3, most likely you may already have it in your collection as FreeAlpha or Alpha3 CM.also Alpha 3 isn't out yet, so Tracktion 3 is still a little wait away.
Then again, if the value of the Alpha plug is consistent with plugs included in the current T2 package, I would expect Mackie would include a full blown Alpha 3 that would rock my socks off!
I'm purchasing the T2 full package today.
