New features planned?

Hi, i tried the sylenth1 Demo, i like it very much. I have a question if the following features are planned for future updates:

- arpeggiator
- preset browser and more presets
- more fx like decimator, vocoder etc.
- more polyphony

I've just finished v1.02, which has 16 notes of polyphony and some other updates. I'm testing it right now.

As for the arpeggiator, preset browser, extra presets and a decimator effect, all of these are planned for future updates yes.

a great synth! I checked the demo and before I buy I would be glad for saving presets within the Synth, not only in the DAW.

When using different DAW's, the presets cannot be transfered. And I did not find a way to change and save new own presets from the DAW to the Sylenth.

second, a modulation (PWM) of the waves would be fine.

for your Information: It is not possible to save Presets within the DAW (the last PC-Logic/Gold 5.51)

Effects presets? That's not a bad idea.

I'd rather have oscillator-sync, cross-, amplitude and frequency modulation maybe phasedistortion... Things that give you more than 8 waveforms. How's about that or about importing your own waveforms.
The sound of the demos is great with maybe the exception of "tubular bells".
But I fear to the "srewers" amongst us it may grow boring with time.

Aren't there enough synths out there that exploit these techniques already? I think part of the uniqueness of Sylenth1 is that it does NOT have these features, but instead has more oscillators with higher brilliance. These can be used to synthesize sounds in an additive way. And I wouldn't worry about growing bored with it too much, it has enough features to create a broad range of sounds.

Also, while making music you don't want to search in a 300 page user manual to find out how to get to the inter-modulation settings panel where you can adjust the cross-modulation of osc1 to osc2, which in turn hardsyncs osc3. You simply want to create and change sounds that sound good without too much effort. And you want moderate CPU usage so you can use more synths and effects at the same time. Sylenth1 gives you exactly that. Anyway, that's my view on this.

And yes, there might indeed be some extra waveforms added in the future.

Next update will include a chorus/flanger effect, an arpeggiator and waveform inversion by the way.

Yes, that's true, but it really is easier when you want to do some tweaks and don't want to wait for Cubase or Nuendo to startup . And getting another program to get the synth to work isn't something allot of people are willing to do I think.

I don't get the point. What's the difference between clicking on the savihost icon and Sylenth1 will be launched and clicking on a Sylenth1 icon and Sylenth1 will be launched? Even the name of savihost has to be changed to Sylenth1 in order to load this synth. So install savihost, rename it in a proper way and think 'Oh nice, now I have a standalone version of Sylenth1' and everything will be okay. You just have to BELIEVE.

BTW: here's another VST host wich is able to load more than one plugin. It's donationware wich means that you have to pay for it to remove a 12 second delay before it will start up. But other than that it's fully functional.

My point is that when I buy a plugin for around 150 euros, I just expect a standalone version with it for the reason I mentioned and I don't want to download some freeware tool to make it standalone. Maybe I'm spoiled, but the Native Instruments and Arturia plugins come with standalone versions too.
