Receptor restarts when instantiating Akoustik Piano

I have just purchased my Receptor and with it a copy of Akoustik Piano. I have followed the instructions on Plugorama and received an authorization code which has successfully authorized on Receptor.
The problem is that when I try to instantiate AP, Receptor just resets itself. I can't get it loaded.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

How much RAM do you have? It may need full 2G... Else put in a ticket at Plugorama, they are good at responding.

I realize that samplers need a lot more RAM than synths but I bought the Receptor with 256MB (I intend to add 1GB shortly) with Akoustik Piano. The e-tailer I bought it from was selling as a bundle.
Although possible I would assume that a reseller wouldn't sell a Receptor and a soft sampler knowing that the hardware couldn't even run the software...I could always be wrong. Also left a ticket with Plugorama.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks for the responses and I wholly agree on the need for more RAM however I am specifically interested to know if the lack of RAM would cause Receptor to reset. Seems to me that if RAM is insufficient, Receptor or AP would show a message about unable to load the sample rather than just resetting - or maybe just fail to load the sample, leaving the plugin instantiated.
Does anyone know of another situation where Receptor has reset itself without instantiating a plugin due to insufficient RAM?

Hey Todd,
Have you taken a look at Z-load is it enabled or disabled ?
Try disableing Z-load if it is on and then try to load AP.
just a hunch !
Best,
Chris

Hey, Chris. Thanks for the suggestion. I read about ZLoad in the manual but don't know what it is and never checked if it is on or off. I will try tonight when I get home. What is it and why do you think it might impact my issue?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi Todd,
Z-load helps certain plugs load faster .... z-load holds a portion of a plugs resources in RAM for fast subsequent loading of the same pulg.
I've had receptor restart a few times when trying to load a few plugs for the first time .... when I disabled z-load, it seemed to fix the problem.
again it's just a hunch but worth a shot..
Best,
Chris

Z-Load would use up some of your already limited RAM.
If the Receptor was trying to fill RAM with samples that it didn't have room for, it could cause your problem. I think C3Boy is right and that lack of RAM is your problem with or without Z-load enabled.

I greatly appreciate all of the feedback. I will go home tonight and turn off Z-load and get that RAM installed as quickly as possible.
I'll let you know what happens - or post more questions!
Thank you.

Tried turning off ZLoad but it didn't work. Ordered RAM today. Will post back when I get a result.
Thanks

Installed 2GB and Receptor properly instantiates. There really should be a message about this but it is fixed.
