Ok... sorry, but I can't help myself, I've been spending the last few days messing with Z2 and doing EDM presets, so I tried covering the first part of a trance tune I heard as part of a medley. I never do this kind of stuff normally. But I thought it would be fun to show what Zebra can do since the factory bank didn't really cover a lot of trance sounds. All synths (and most FX) are Z2, I just used some stupid FL compression and EQ on the master track. Drums are FL defaults.

Yep. Chemical Plant from Sonic 2, I believe, but the arrangement is from a TranceAddicts remix project.

I think I'm one of those horrible people that like this kind of sound then.

It's not Virus, but it's clean and carries a very interesting character with it. Z2 at work.

Glad you took some time to show off some of your work.

Thanks for that zircon. I had considered Zebra 2 and your demo clearly highlights the clean, thin and nasty nature of this synth in this area. I won't be retiring my Virus just yet!

Here is another quick bit with both sounds including XMF - not trance though, more like progressively folksy clumsiness.

The "melody" sound is the 12-string sitar from the Howard Scarr's christmas set we got a while ago, but added with XMF in the end of the synth path.

It's still beta, not public... but probably not very far in the future as I understood.
