I decided to have a go at DFD and getting it right for me, but I'v gone back to it after a few months of not having it on, and when i activate it it's not coming on when i reopen kompakt. Any ideas what the problem is?

I'll take a stabb at it !!! ...
If you set Kompakt to DFD ... and then uninstantiate it, then re-instantiate it, I think the DFD preference it stick ...
