I agree with Sascha, I think it's important to keep it going...do not kill it, let it die of natural causes...closing it could look like favoritism for a developer...if it does get killed and by some miracle Rene releases the pluggin it will just erupt even more...I vote for it staying and being a lasting reminder to future developers that we don't care for non-stop broken promises.

Sure, I can see that. I guess for me, I'd rather just hear about it when he atcually has something to release. Or decides to sell his (rather good) vocal effects. But ultimately, it's totally up to him; but he shouldn't say its release is immanent, of course!
