I'm unable to select Midi Outputs from the Rack Out.
What I'm doing wrong?

Ok, added to the whishlistDaveL60 wrote:One other thought: any chance of expanding the send control with a panning option, somehow? I'm thinking of feeding something like a vocoder effect, where the carrier and modulation inputs need to be panned fully left and right. If I want to use my drum audio as the modulator, the only way I see right now to have both the stereo audio and the hard-panned modulator input is to use a rack (whoops, almost wrote "mixer strip") as an intermediate stage just to get the panning. Seems like panning in the send control (maybe with stereo -> mono conversion as a send option) would be an easier way to do that.

Note that a Rack has an audio output AND a event (midi) output, but you only SEE one of both in the Rack editor.mahtazz wrote:Hi,

I've midi out configurated but no event output in the rack out...muzycian wrote:Note that a Rack has an audio output AND a event (midi) output, but you only SEE one of both in the Rack editor.mahtazz wrote:Hi,

Because it's quite unusual that one Rack will effectively output both audio and events.
So by right-clicking the output of the Rack, you can choose which output you want to SEE there.
So choose to see the Event Output, then select the MIDI port you want to send to.
If no MIDI ports are listed, then i guess you don't have any MIDI ports activated yet.
You can activate MIDI ports via the Edit menu -> MIDI Setup.
Does all this helps?
Thanks for the picture, that makes it clear.mahtazz wrote:I've midi out configurated but no event output in the rack out...muzycian wrote:Note that a Rack has an audio output AND a event (midi) output, but you only SEE one of both in the Rack editor.mahtazz wrote:Hi,

I can't repeat it here, just works fine.mahtazz wrote:Bug:
In List Editor, if you dclick in a time in Time Column and then anywhere in the Window, Luna crashes.
Can't reproduce here now...muzycian wrote:I can't repeat it here, just works fine.mahtazz wrote:Bug:

Is this repeatable on your system?
If so, can you send me some more detailed crash info?
Dave, do you remember what you were doing at the very moment of that crash.DaveL60 wrote:I've had occasional random crashes that I can't reproduce also (had one last night while playing with PR5). Somewhat frustrating but hard to track down. Everything seems to work OK when I restart LUNA, so I'm kinda left wondering what to do about it.
I'll try to start keeping better track and see if I can find any pattern.

I have installed a Virtual Midi port.muzycian wrote:Thanks for the picture, that makes it clear.mahtazz wrote:I've midi out configurated but no event output in the rack out...muzycian wrote:Note that a Rack has an audio output AND a event (midi) output, but you only SEE one of both in the Rack editor.mahtazz wrote:Hi,

Now that you have selected to see the event output of a rack, then click the output and choose your MIDI port, in this case the MS GS Synth.
Does that work?
