The going theory is that the thing will be a pitchtracking oscillator. So I think you're supposed to listen and say "Ooh, guitar synth!"John Vulich wrote:What the f**k was the point in that promo?
That was about as pointless as it gets.
Either that or Moog is showing off how an LFO can slowly modulate a filter over long periods of time.

There's talk that Arturia will be releasing some kind of hardware thing.
Oh, and the Moog thing's cover was blown by JRR Shop it seems:

Well, I haven't played it yet, I've just seen pictures of it but I thought it was a cool thing to have in the booth. I think they keyboardist from The Cure is demoing it a little bit or something...

What? That? No. But, I will give you a hint (not that you guys are likely to guess because I am not sure if it has even ever been seen). It's a midi controller musical instrument that has keys that are stacked up in an interesting way for access to a lot of notes in a tigher space. I've seen some similar things in the past that do that but this one is a little different than that. There are only a few prototypes in existence so it will be a cool novelty to check out at our booth. That's the only reason I said it was okay for them to show it there. I am all about strange inventions (like the Continuum Fingerboard... if you haven't seen those little videos I posted playing it then let me know and I'll post some links).
