I'm obviously too stupid for this kind of stuff. Can you or someone else here explaine as good as possible, how i can load the fxp files from howard's christmas library into ZEBRA 2 !?

Put the HS folder where all the other Z2 patches are on your system, and it will show up in Zebra's browser.
The exact location depends on what platform and format of Zebra you are using.

thanx very much for your explanation. 
my problem seems to be that i use the AU version on a G5 MAC.
If i have read Urs explanations correctly, the .fxp files are for the PC VST versions and not suited for the MAC. So, after i have stored Howard's preset folder in my Zebra 2 folder, his soundbank doesn't show up in my Zebra 2 browser. Now i need to know, how i convert those patches into the AU format, i guess ... or something like that ...

No, they work fine for me on my PPC Mac. Z2 Mac AU will load the patches without problems.
(That's what the ".fxp, loading fine in AU from the editor window" means)
Perhaps you are not putting them in the correct place?
Mine are in *USER*/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Zebra2/

i checked my folders again and found out that i had 2 folders with similar soundbanks on my mac, one in the library of the user partition and one in the normal system HD library. As soon as i took one of them out, ZEBRA 2 was recognizing the .fxb files !

Anyone raving about Zebra2 should consider writing a review in k-v-r - only one more and it could be in their "charts"...
