Hey Radjo
Thanks for this, it is always nice to hear we beat out the Plasma TV for quality time spent over the xmas season ;-)
Also thanks for getting your work environment using our instruments, I remember you doing the same before for us with ManyStation and ManyGuitar for your PCs there. Have you gone fully Mac at work now?

We've still lost Frank though. He must have had a busy Xmas.

Hi Paul
You won my attention over the plasma, as the boss was in the media room playing xbox on it since the 25th, and he assigned me a project while he plays. :x
I used our new mac manyone in it though, so i had a good chance to try it out.

We are still using both pc and mac here in the studio depending on the project at hand. It's just i end up on the mac more than the pc as both my bosses are too busy playing games to learn how a mac works.
Happy new year dude.

Can you give us a quick overview of the difference between ManyStation and ManyOne? They seem to be very similar.

Post

They come with different soundsets: their soundsets load in both the synths though.

The manystation is essentially wusikstation: it can load 6 soundsets at one time, has 2 wavesequencers and is capable of very complex modulation. It also has quite a few built in effects.

ManyOne can only load one soundset and is a lot less complex.

While manystation is probably capable of a lot more than manyone, their goal is different. ManyOne is a players synth: it comes with a sound and an effects wizard. So making a goodsounding patch on it is very easy.

It's basically somewhat like the difference between a good 2 osc substractive and a full blown modular. The modular can do a whole lot more things than the 2 osc, but it can take a whole lot more time to get to your sound.

I hope this makes sense

Hey Guys
Sorry, i missed a few replies here somehow. Thanks for the rundown Kyran, that basically sums it up.

And a reminder the Intro sale on ManyOne is suppose to end on Jan 15th. I think we released ManyOne a bit too close to Christmas though so we are considering extending it a bit as we have had a couple customers already ask us to do so.

It is still $37.95 until we decide further what to do here about the end date.
ManyGuitar users get it for $29.95.

Also Greg and I have a Big surprise release for the FreeZone coming soon that all you ManyTone customers will love. It happens to be almost 300 meg!!!
But I can't give the secret away yet ;-)

Grab your ManyOne while the price is still Low!
Cheers guys

When will there be a demo version?

Hi
Yes, we are working on this. At first it was tough as we didn't want to give all the sound content away for free. But I think Aldo has a solution for this now so that we could code a special Demo version. Both Aldo and I are pretty busy but we know this has to become a priority.
I'll post again as soon as we discuss a bit more about this.
Cheers
Paul
BTW Radjo - Thanks for the update, glad you are enjoying ;-)

Any hints on this freezone freebee?
Is it real acoustic instruments or is it synth samples?
any clues? (i love the freezone stuff that is available so far)
300 meg, that sounds huge for a free release. I can't wait!

Paul, what if you extended it til January 28th, when the Wusik group buy ends? As I've stated elsewhere, Being a Wusik owner adds tremendous value to ManyOne (because ManyOne plays Wusik soundsets). They're going to have a lot of new users, and all those users should have a chance to get ManyOne!
If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!

okay a hint or 2...
It is a real acoustic instrument.
It comes in the form of 3 soundsets representing 3 different mic positions recorded at the same time.
You won't have to wait long as release is days away. ;-)
End hints.

It is a big set nearly 300 meg but compressed for download it will be a bit easier for customers to download.

Hi Hewitt
As we are releasing a demo version very soon for ManyOne we will extend the Intro offer to get ManyOne at a reduced price to at least the end of the month if not a bit longer, depending on how soon we get the demo version released.

Thanks again for enjoying ManyOne so much that you tell others about it. This means alot to us here at ManyTone to hear from users who really enjoy our products.
