Dude. You just made my day! I'm in the process of converting to OSX (only my desktop is left running Windows) and I was worried that I might have to convert all of my wusik soundsets into something that I could use in Reason. I have about 25GB of soundsets and it would take me ages to convert. This is going to save me a hell of a lot of time and did I also catch it right that ManyGuitar is going to eventually be on OSX as well? That's another plug I will really miss in the conversion and I'll be glad to have it back.

...My order is in BTW. :)

The cool thing about this is that I can layer these sounds easily with multiple ManyOne instances in the new racks that Ableton Live has.

and so is mine :D :tu: :band2:

Hi Shaggy and pwal
Thanks, All Orders were shipped as soon as I saw them come in, I hope you both received them.
Shaggy - have we lost you?

Great to hear this comment from you, I appreciate that, but now that you have it please tell us how it is on your Mac. ;-)

Thanks again for all the other comments also!

I got it. :) It's working great so far. I've mostly been experimenting with layering multiple Manyone's to get different sounds.

Hi Paul.

Just bought ManyOne and I can say that I like it a lot. The presets that come with manyone are quite good and the wizards are a very good addition.Well done. 8)

I've got 2 FR's for manyone.
1) Ability to scroll the the browser with the mouse wheel
2) Midi control for the knobs just like every other wusik-dash engine vsti. This would make manyone complete.

Cheers
Kyros

Hi Kyros, thanks for your advices.
The mouse wheel... I forgot!
Seriously, I will try to implement the mouse wheel support as soon as possible.

ManyOne is not based on the wusik-dash engine, but yes, there will be a midi learn function in both ManyOne and ManyGuitar.
It won't work like EVE (right click), but I'll do it -- perhaps like the DKS MIDI learn system, if the Paul agrees.

Aldo.

Hey thanks Kyros.
I enjoy working with Aldo! He knows I have plenty of new ideas for ManyTone products too, so I think you will see more cool stuff from us. Not only on the PC platform, but for the Mac also, like ManyOne is. Aldo also worked with us on ManyGuitar, and I love how he can take a tone I hear in my head and "code" it so to speak. I too think we work well together.

I also want to remind everyone that the intro special on "ManyOne" is only available until the 15th of January. Until then it is priced at only $37.95. ManyGuitar users can pick it up for $29.95. A Crazy price for a Cool Instrument that plays all your Wusik Sample collections, and comes with the ManyMapper thrown in for Free for making your own SampleSets (a $15.00 value - PC platform only) as well as access to all the extra sounds in our ManyTone FreeZone including the new Sitar (a $10.00 value) and a bunch of other High Quality Samples, that you can see in the FreeZone on our WebPage. I would have to say, I think this is a pretty nice special offer for all interested. :-o

Thanks again to everyone who has commented and purchased.

Hi John
Thanks.
I had pointed out in 2 other threads that we are going to extend the offer for a while as we are releasing a demo version soon and want to keep the intro price in effect for a few weeks after the demo is released.

Those threads are here:

and

Sorry I forgot to mention it here in this thread.

Oh, but that's ok. I was going to buy it anyway. I have been using Mr. Ray and Mr. Tramp for epiano, and they sometimes cause a few glitches. I can use the Vox Continental sounds too.

Thanks,

John

So far the presets are very musical and useful, and demonstrate the capabilities of the synth well. The soundsets are very good. I am happy!

ManyOne users
Have you grabbed your free piano?

Just noticed that the release of the piano was not mentioned in this massive ManyOne thread yet.

As I am not mailing ManyTone Customers for a week or so about this new free addon, here is a bump for those ManyTone users watching this thread who don't know about it yet. You can grab it now.

Here is the thread with the details:

Have fun with this, Greg's MP3 demo is definitely worth a listen BTW.

Thanks 2ndStringer, Glad to hear you are enjoying ManyOne.

At first, I thought ManyOne wasn't for me since already have EVE 2, but I have to admit, this is pretty neat after having it for a couple days. Plus, I'm a already fan of Luigi and Aldo's work. A quick note: I tend to use Peak Pro 5.2 as a host to experiment with synths and other plugins, and the ManyOne VST crashes the app after switching about 6 waveforms. The AU version seems to work fine. This is on an iMac OSX 10.4.8 machine with 2gb ram, 2ghz Core2Duo. I mostly use AudioUnit plugins, but I will probably upgrade Tracktion to version 3 when its available (Tracktion uses VST only and not AU), and I'll test the VST again and see if it's maybe more of a Peak Pro issue.
And a bump for the ManyTone Acoustic Bass samples - they're fantastic.
