Synthogy Ivory Issue - No Presets

I have installed the latest version of Ivory, with updates from the Synthogy website, into Receptor following the instructions posted with the installer. I then received my authorization number from Synthogy and officially authorized the version of Ivory loaded on my Receptor. My Receptor has the upgraded 250 gig hard drive, purchased directly from Muse and expanded RAM to 2 gig. I use Cubase4 recording software. When I open the Receptor either in Cubase or by accessing the network interface (I use Uniwire) I can select Ivory but there are no presets or sounds listed. Am I doing something wrong here or is this a problem with Receptor? I was led to believe that Ivory would work just fine on the Receptor. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I need to use my Receptor running Ivory for a recording session next week.
Thanks!

Hi Baby88,

Yeah - this happened to me, on a couple of installs. This often happens with unsupported plugin installs too.

You should have Receptor rescan it's patch banks.
Try to restart your Receptor while holding down MULTI to rescan the banks. This operation will take sometime (could take around 10 minutes), and should happen in the background (even after the the UI has come up, and seems responsive). You should probably hear the disk churning in the background -letting you know it is rescanning.

Thanks Kevin,
Rescanning brought up the presets! Something like 113 in all. That part seems to be okay.
I'm still having midi issues and don't get any output through Cubase4 with the Receptor even though my two Roland keyboards work fine as long as the Receptor is turned off. As soon as I turn the Receptor on my Yamaha midi interface lights up like the proverbial Christmas tree and locks up. The only way to reset the midi interface is to power everything, Receptor, keyboards and computer, down. Any thoughts??

Thanks Again!

Hi John,

I'm a bit confused about what you are trying to do, and where the problem is (I'm also not familiar with Cubase or the Yamaha interface that you are using).

Is the problem that Receptor is not getting Midi in from cubase/yamaha-interface? Is there anything else on the line inbetween the two (eg. a midi merger device?)? Do you have Receptors MIDI-out going back into your interface?

Resetting Midi Interface = Bad (:^(
