I always dreamed of annoying priests with absurd requests and sample church's verbs shooting all over the place with a gun.

I think that for capturing a natural reverb of the stadium the sound source must come from only one spot so he would need to move all the speakers to the grass.

A great idea . I was in Sicily (aah, lovely) last year, and a not too annoying priest spoke with a very deep voice before 100s of people, and that shooting would have made a huge impact there, I am sure. Had the impression people would have liked it and going on with the mass after.

To topic: there was a feature in Computermusic108 on making your own IRs. Most probably not in-depth like you'd need it, but just in case 108 was still to be found in a shop where you live.
