they will have to take at least 40% off for that.
LOL...

They have pretty good graphic artists these guys. I hope the sound is as good as the looks.

Whoa!! This is a monster tone! Reminds me a bit of an older Santana tone. I like it a lot!

Is that a Les Paul and AT2?!!

Great playing Andrew!

Sweeet! This sounds great! I cannot stop from listening to it.

Andrew, would you be willing to share your AT2 preset?

How does the AC Booster enhance/color the sound? Would it be possible to have maybe a really short version (a few seconds) without the use of the AC Booster?

.

Post

Well the AC booster is part of the sound.
Here is a sample turning it on and off, just for you A3ntar:

It's a very clean boost, but oh so nice.

Let me know if you still want the preset, I use a lot of 3rd party effects so the preset will be pretty dry.

Post

I think A3ntar got it with the Mosrite.

it's not really a fuzz box... Jimi used it after his Wah and his fuzz boxES

Roger Mayer created some fuzzboxes though... and the pedals all look the same ;) (some are just in different colours)

So I think that the answer was the FuzzFace

Post

no I think you hit the jackpot with the fuzzrite

Andras, I really like that boost! It adds that special "something" to the tone.

A bit expensive though.

I ( and I am pretty sure a lot of others) would still be highly interrested in that preset.

Thanks.

RightFuzz
Based on Mosrite™ Fuzzrite®
A highly sought-after, rare fuzz box, it was one of the first commercially available floor effect units, making its first appearance in 1966. It doesn't get any more vintage than this when it comes to stomp pedals.

Read the description and Squids' hint again.
"one of the first commercially available floor effect units"

This was definitely the correct answer.
It would have been my guess, except I didn't think it would have been fair to win two copies, so I abstained. ;)
