Hi Blue Cat,
In case you check in again Paypal should have some more $$ for you! Please send me a registration code.
I'm really getting into this midi cc control so now I need a parametric or 2 with midi recv capability. Recording automation was so clumsy for me - I'm thinking this real time midi automation is going to speed things up a lot. And the fact that it's still easily tweakable at any point befor render is a real bonus too! Well I'll see how well I can make it all work in Tracktion2.
Thanks!
Kyle

I think you must have already received your registration codes. Sorry for the delay, but even though the system is automated we still need to check manually that the orders are ok. And it was night time here
. It should be totally automated soon so that you can get your products instantly.
I am glad you like the MIDI CC stuff. It's right that this real-time control speeds up the process a lot! I personally use very often, especially for voice-overs and side chain compression/multi-band compression (ever check our tutorials?).
I wish you a lot of fun!

Hi Blue Cat - just finished downloading & registering, thanks! I've been going thru the tutorials they're very helpful - you have a heck of a lot of power in your plugin set and I like to review the tutorials partly to remember everything that can be done. I like the crosswire podcast video where they use the Blue Cat dynamics & eq plugs in a quick mix session.
Thanks for remembering the discount - I figure when you release the frequency analyzer I'll use it then. Thanks again!

I meant to ask you about which multi-band midi controlled compressor you use - or are you referring to a technique in one of the tutorials?Blue Cat Audio wrote:I am glad you like the MIDI CC stuff. Yes these guys do a great job. And it's fun too!I like the crosswire podcast video where they use the Blue Cat dynamics & eq plugs in a quick mix session.
I was referring to this tutorial (Real time Side Chain Dynamic EQ). We have several multi-band dynamics products under development but it's not ready yet, and for some tasks it's faster to setup a side chain MIDI controlled EQ anyway.I meant to ask you about which multi-band midi controlled compressor you use - or are you referring to a technique in one of the tutorials?

Cool! I'm fixing to do something like that today except I'll be using a tight band on your parametric EQ as a de-esser for a few spots (just for a split second) where someone forgot to set the preamp to accept vocal consonants!Blue Cat Audio wrote: I was referring to this tutorial (Real time Side Chain Dynamic EQ). Sounds nice! I'd be glad to see how you do that and hear the result!
