Any ideas on Open Source/Freeware apps for this? My sampling workflow includes Wavosaur, Audacity and ESC at present. If there is no alternative, I will re-tune the samples and then re-loop them again
Thanks.
I'd rather change the actual samples, as they will be freely distributed, and I want people to be able to usethem in any sampler they want (without having to tweak all the tunings).BertKoor wrote:Can't you set the base (root) note including a cents offset in your sampler??

Sorry not free but I'd have to say that Adobe Audition is the best because you can batch process the files with a script...pw wrote:I need to re-tune about 50 samples that are 1/4 tone high. I got great results using Audacity, but just realised that it erases the loop points in the samples when I re-save the tuned file (audacity still doesn't support loop points).
