Very Important Question about daHornet

Hi Lugi, hehe, betchya never thought I'd have a question about this old thing.

I've got a PS daHornet Collection customer wondering if the presets will load in the AU version of daHornet (he is using Live as a host to my knowledge)...will they? If not, is there any way to make our presets compatible with the AU version of daHornet? Or shall I issue him a refund.

The presets were made on a PC, using the VST version, and therefore are in FXP/FXB format.

Any help is appreciated.

Ok, now he says that he CAN load the FXP files in the MAC OSX Vst version in Live...but when he does, there is no sound. On top of that, he can't load the FXB files at all for some reason. He can use the VST version on MAC OSX though...but if there is a way to convert FXP/FXB to AUPreset files, that'd be great...or if the above situation could be rectified another way. Oh well, , Let me know.

the issue is not simple, I think it's possible to convert the presets but I can't do that since I have no Mac, Aldo is the Mac guy here but I'm afraid he will not do that since too busy, <sigh>

also the porting of daHornet to mac was made by Adrian which is now out of that business,

so the only solution is to find another Mac programer to do the job

Thanx Luigi. I'll try to see if anyone I know can handle that job.

Anyways, he can use the VST version on OSX, but he claims that when he loads the FXP files, there isn't any sound.

Oh well, thanx luigi! I'll see what else I can find out about it.
