Is the 76 available now??!! I've been hanging out for it, but can't find any confirmation - have you actually seen one for sale??
In answer to your questions, I can't see why it wouldn't work, as others do, and if there are bugs, the Muse boys will help you out

What I DO know is the VMK88 orignal is WAY too slow to be useful in a professional environment. Play a fast run while pumping the volume peda;l as one does playing B3, and it just chokes. The newer one is faster, but I have not been able to determine of ot is fast enough - suggest you purchase from somewhere that will let ou return it if not satisfied...

I would love to find a store in my area that even just carries Fatar/Studiologic as I've always really liked their feel - unfortunately, all the places seem to carry are M-Audio which I'm not fond of.
Interesting article in the new issue of SOS about the new VMK series.

As i understand it receptor only supports a few named controlers to work over USB You can strike lucky; eg. the Axiom(?) seems to work well.
I want the VMK 176 plus for its piano type weighted action primarily but id like to strike lucky too!
The 76 note version is available in the UK
but I have read (probably internet rumour)that its going to be discontinued.

I can understand your feeling about the M-Audio boards. I haven't tried the weighted actions, but the Axiom and Prokeys88sx is too deep even for piano. I put up with it because the rest of the requirements fit my needs so well, but I'd love to see a high quality synth keyboard on the Axiom series.Har wrote:I would love to find a store in my area that even just carries Fatar/Studiologic as I've always really liked their feel - unfortunately, all the places seem to carry are M-Audio which I'm not fond of.

I need to look at that article, SOS is pretty trustworthy, I believe. At least they're usua;;y very detailed...
