ModMatrix not working in Zebra 2 beta?

Hello Urs and all,

I am checking out the latest beta of Zebra 2 that I downloaded just today. All is fine except for the ModMatrix which is not working at all. I use an Intel Mac with OS 10.4.8, AU version in GarageBand 3.0.4. BTW, is there a way to modulate filter resonance except for the ModMatrix? Those two slots in VCFs seem to be hardwired to cutoff.

Hmmm,

Yes, the 2 Mod slots in the filters are generally hardwired to Cutoff.

But the ModMatrix (below the Grid, "behind" the Mixer) should make modulation of Resonance available...

No, it's not working here. For example, I have a simple falling envelope which may control the cutoff though the hardwired slot in VCF1. But doing it via ModMatrix doesn't work:

I tried many modulators and destinations as well as setting "via" and nothing works here...

Again, I have downloaded Zebra 2 beta yesterday.

Hi... oh... hehehe...

The layout may be a bit confusing, but you have to use the knobs *next* to the Target slot on the right side, not the knobs *below* the target slot...

(Reminds me that I wanted to update the graphics there to make it more clear... d'oh)

you need to use the knobs on the RIGHT or LEFT of the modslot, not the ones above or beneath

there are modulations that don't work! for example, mod of volume via the Modwheel ,
or the mod of the LFO1(vibrato) rate via Aftertouch !

? Both of these work on my PC. Maybe you're not setting "sensible" initial values?
