Hey all,
I've had my Receptor for well over a year and think its amazing for live and studio for keys. It's changed my life, not kidding. It's getting cooler for guitars but I wondered:
is anyone using Receptor for live vocal processing and effects?
if so, what are you using?
any examples of successes?
pitfalls?
Anything related to vocal processing would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Dan

Something I have not yet tried but was wondering as well.
What vocal plugs are OK as unsupported ?
Of course, you need a Hi-Z mic or a converter Lo-Z to Hi-Z.
Perhaps for Receptor 2 Muse will equip it with one of those XLR/Jack combo plug, and give it the ability to run Hi-Z or Lo-Z sources. That lack of combo plug is one of my minor gripes.

Hey All,Though I do not own a receptor, I have some info for you.
Thomas Dolby is using a receptor for all his live vocals on his recent tour (all processed through Logic Pro) The Sole Inhabitant...he has a DVD out with a performance at Berkekey School of Music where he explains his rig and what he's using. Check out www.thomasdolby.com (http://www.thomasdolby.com) and see some live podcasts...Dolby endorses Receptor so maybe you can get him to respond from his blog. Hope this helps...
Keep On Synthin',
Chris

I'm still waiting to hear from someone at Muse, regarding the Syncoder 32, for live Vocodor use...

Thanks for the Dolby info Synthesist.
I will check it out and see if I discover anything and post it back here if I do.
Anyone using Guitar Rig for vocals (dist., delay, etc)???
customizing anything else for vox?
