Memorymoon and Receptor

A great Memorymoog VST that works with Receptor. You can find a demo here:
http://memorymoon.com/downloads.htm
$25 for a full working version. I have already found myself replacing many of my poly analog vst's with Memorymoon. It features a crucial element in mimicing analog synthesis, variations on each voice. This is missing from so many of the analog sims out there, including the expensive sims.
Install is straight forward using the unsupported method. The .dll and .dat file need to be placed in the unsupported folder and then hit the install button.
Made by Gunnar Ekornas who helped bring you MinimogueVA and arppe2600va.
If you enjoy analog, I think you'll enjoy this. I give it my 2 thumbs up.

The excellent and free KX-Omni 600, by Kx77Free, does this...It features a crucial element in mimicing analog synthesis, variations on each voice. This is missing from so many of the analog sims out there, including the expensive sims.

does the memorymoon have the exact replica of the patch which jan hammer used for the miami vice lead guitar sound?
he used a memorymoog patch and put it through distortion to create that distinctive guitar sound used on the miami vice main theme
does anyone know what the patch is?
im trying to find which patch it is,
ive found 2 patches, one is called "hammer lead" and another is called "memory pulse solo"
and is there any distortion plug ins that will give a same sound as a rockman one?
thanks

I've seen him live w/ a custom built Oberheim 6 voice (Oberheim SEM modules), running thru a vintage MXR Flanger (the grey one) and into real guitar amps, a Marshall top in this case w/ a 4x12 cab. The synth had been controlled by his "Probe" remote keyboard and later he used a Lynx Jan Hammer Edition remote keyboard.
Anyway, - w/ the Memorymoon it's possible to create sounds like this too. Use the Kjaerhus Classic flanger and a good guitar amp/spkr simulation, - or use NI Guitar Rig 2 if you can afford, - it includes the FX you need for these sounds.
cheers, PeWe
