Spectrasonics says RMX Update is all up to Muse - now what?

I contacted Eric at Spectrasonics about the RMX 1.5 upgrade for Receptor, he stated they have nothing to do with it, it's all up to Muse. So, Muse guys, what's the hold-up? This is a very important update to RMX users, adding major live-performance features. As they are getting prepared to start announcing RMX 2. i think this would be a good time to complete the process.
What can you tell us about a timeline for getting this on the boards?

We are currently working on the NI komplete 4 installer, part of this project may allow for users to perform their own updates, this is slated for NAMM. However the RMX update is also on a list of projects to complete.

IOW, nothing happening... I know they're busy, but this is a major update, and for my professional projects, live stage gigs and concerts, the 1.5 update is mandatory or I can't use it: I had to bring a PC. monitor etc. to a gig last month because the newer RMX was the only way to create the rhythm tracks... Oh well, I know they mean well, and don't want to rag on them. But it sure is frustrating. I didn't put this in becuase I've aleady bugged them about OS updates, etc and don't want to be a pain, just hoping for some off-the-cuff response for a timeline...

Hi guys
I completely understand you want this update, and we admit that we are behind in supporting some of the updates that have come out.
I'll talk to the guys in engineering and see if we can't get some of these things dealt with sooner rather than later... the Universal Binary support stuff has taken a LOT longer than we had expected, and honestly, if we have RMX working, although at a previous rev, versus a customers total inability to control Receptor remotely from their Mac because of UB support, we're going to prioritize UB over a new rev of a working plug-in.
So... please be patient, we'll get to this (and others) ASAP.

The UB stuff you talk of, is that for receptor remote software or a UB verseion of Uniwire?

Both. And if you listen to any of the other developers out there, they will all tell you it has been really hard... there is a lot of subtlety in the tool chain, but I'm pleased to say we're in final test and release is imminent.

As much as I need the Universal Binary, I'm almost more excited for its release just to free up the resources to work on other stuff

I agree wiith ajswanson - once the UB stuff is done, there willl hopefully be room for some catch-up...
