thanks for the freebies I just installed them but for some reason the only one cubase will find is refir, the others are there but cubase se doesn't see them. is thus common?

All the plugins work for me in Cubase SX 3, but Fir is the only one that works in Wavelab 5.

same goes for logic:
only fir is working, the others don't even show up ...
deadbeef, where are you? :(

Hmm, Reacomp appears to crash in Ableton Live 6.0.5 when multiple instances are loaded. Also, manipulating the Dry knob on one instance seems to alter the Dry knob value across all instances...

:(

I'd really like to use this thing... it kicks some serious ass.

Oh well I must've been daydreaming when this thread came on. Anyway I just brought up reaFIR VST plugins in Tracktion (I'm a Reaper license holder too, I just get around) and got a nice jaw-drop.

What we have here is a logical progression for the old Arboretom Ionizer plugin - very nice! Not a copy of course, and some features are different but this is very cool!

I set up a 32K FFT compressor, set the gui window range from +0db to -10db, selected precise, held down shift and dragged to mouse from the top left corner to the bottom right corner and got a 10db/octave slope. Set range back to 0db to -90db, hit play, set ratio to 1.5:1, holding ctrl grabbed to slope I made earlier till I got some good sounding gain reduction.

This took about 12 seconds to make a 16,000 band multi-band compressor. Fine tuning the general slope takes a bit longer but good grief - this is beautiful. I haven't even gotten to the EQ or NR yet...after purchasing the SEQ2 recently it's good to see other folks getting into uber high FFT plugins!

Thanks deadbeef, you da man :tu:

Yep - that's the ticket. I think that's the resolution a 32K FFT spectral processor will give you - 16,000 individual bands! Pretty cool eh? Ionizer had 1024 if I remember correctly.

There's a coupla bugs in the FFT processor yet (see Reaper bug forum) but this thing looks very cool!

Just a note, we've updated reaplugs here:

http://reaper.fm/files/reaplugs.zip

Now includes oversampling AA modes for reacomp, big reafir quality fixes, and reastream (which allows you to stream audio and MIDI from machine to machine on your LAN).

Is ReaStream a VST that can run in other hosts?

Sounds like it - the original was reaper only but if it's been made into a VST then that must be the intention - awesome - thanks

Thanks!
