Just purchased Zebra 2 and have installed it. It will not show up as a VST in Live. It's in the correct VST Folder and I have the msvcr71.dll in the System32 Folder.

Zebralette does show up... Any help greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem; Zebralette works fine and the reverb too.

I think I saw another post by you where you said that Guitar Rig creates this problem for you???

Yeah, you're right. Neither Zebra nor Guitar Rig show up in Live 6.0.3. That's bad for me, because Zebra is my most beloved synth and i just got my repaired (from Max el Belga) little red guitar back. I should ask in Ableton's forum about this issue.

Has anyone at U-he support tried to help you? I'm going to have to ask for my money back if Zebra 2 won't work in Live...

Urs will come back from Australia the 24th. Then i'll ask him. I have Sonar as an alternative host, but i'd like to combine Zebra with the weird effects in Live and i use Sonar mainly for audio.
If you don't have another host, in the Computer Music mag you can find CMuzys, CMusic and in the next issue Podium. I wouldn't give it up too fast, because Zebra is fantastic.

Yeah, I have other hosts, but I can't efficiently work on tracks across multiple hosts!!!! Good luck. I hope we can resolve this issue the Urs.

Hmmmmmm... All other VSTs that I have (several hundreds) work fine... But, maybe I'll give that a try.

Are you thinking that I need to uninstall before reinstalling Ableton?

yeah, I'd do a complete uninstall, then reinstall, just to make sure you have a completely fresh copy. Then it can scan again right from the begining, maybe it'll pick up zebra 2 this time around, and your guitar plug as well.

Zebra 2 works fine over here with Ableton 6.0.3 windows xp (pc)

Zebra 2 works fine in live for me (well, there's a little problem in the arrange view, but the live people are working on that.)

which cpu / mb and soundcards are you using?

here I have a C2D and asus mb and midiman soundcard,
and both (Zebra and Guitar Rig) are working fine in Live 6.0.3
