If you'd go to Berlin, to the right cafe, you could even have a real German beer with the genius himself.

Yes. Everytime you get out of the a/c'd car, there's a ring of moisture on the camera. I sometimes forget about this, as you can see on the first pic...

... but the worst thing are the stingers... one simply can't jump in the ocean...

Do it! The reef is insane! So is the rain forest!

The weirdest thing is the total commercialization of it. We hadn't had much time, so we more or less blindly went for the tour vendors. Nevertheless we didn't regret any cent for a scuba dive on Michaelmas Cay or the Skyrail. Food is expensive, but it's insanely great, i.e. coral trout at Casmar in Palm Cove or at Limmy in Cairns. Or just a remarkable Fish & Chips at Frogs in Kurunda.

Later,

;) Urs

Hey Mate,

if you happen to have some space left in your suitcase, put in one of those big, nice round rocks as seen in the last picture. That would look so good in my garden. Don't know if it fits in the hand luggage! :hihi:

Cheers,
tas
