Hey, quick question..
Lets say I start with the initial patch and assign the volume of Osc 1 to MSEG 1, and create some sort of up/down gate envelope.
If I push the mod level to thr right, it leaks audio from env1, but if I push it left, and reverse the envelope, it doesnt.
Can anyone explain to me how I can go through MSEG 1, without going through env 1 first, so I can create gated envelopes the "usual" way.
Thanks in advance.
Envelope 1 vs MSEG 1

If I'm understanding correctly what you want to do, you should set OSC 1's base volume to 0, and push the MSEG-bound mod knob to the right. I don't get leakage when I do this (actually I apparently do get a little, but it's at about -52dB and might be a result of the xmf filter I have on there at the moment).
It's not that OSC 1 goes through env 1 by default, but that each track has its voicemix parameter controlled by env 1 by default (so this should actually be after OSC 1's volume modulation). If you want to change this you can set it to (edit: "gate", what I had here before was unintelligible) by clicking on the box in the voice mix area. But I think maybe you had it set so the mseg was adding on to the initial volume of osc 1, so it wasn't a case of leakage per se, but when the MSEG was at the bottom, it was just adding 0 to an already positive value. Modulation is all relative to the initial value.

Not sure if I understand it right, assuming you don't want env1 to affect the volume at all just go to the grid area and look above the volume-knob of the four gridlines. There's a dropdown-menu which by default is set to env1. Try setting it to "gate". This way env1 will no longer affect the volume and you can control the osc volume purely with the mseg.
