tasmaniandevil,

thanks so much for these patches... I've learned quite a bit from just seeing what you did with only a few so far...

you might want to put a link to your patches in the "user patch exchange" area, as I think that's a sticky thread....

Yau, thx! Will put a link to the patch exchange area.

I just got back from a business trip, so I'm a little late to the party.

But once again, these are superb, with a lot of attention to detail. Many presets are geared to the more experimental electronica - right up my alley - so I'm especially appreciative. I do like the extra XY settings of the basic patch, it really covers the essentials of the original which would otherwise be easily overlooked.

You better come late than too early.:hihi:
For the other ones who are coming late I finally posted the direct download-links to the preset-sticky-thread.

EDIT: Answered half of my own question

I know this is a REALLY old thread...but I just discovered these presets. (Thanks Tas!) It made me wonder:

Is there any way to randomized ONLY the X/Y pads within a preset?
ANSWER: Yes - PatchLib presets http://u-he.com/PatchLib/all.html - "Random XY"
Except...it doesn't seem to work - at least I can't see that it's changing the XY pads. :o

Is there any kind of script that saves new preset variations (X/Y pad changes only) in bulk (like the ones Tas made)?

Typically, I'm working on my laptop (MacBook Air) with a minimal controller keyboard (no knobs/sliders). To move the X/Y pads, I use either the mouse or a TouchOSC template on my iPad via CoreMIDI on WiFi. However, sometimes it's just more inspiring to flip from preset to preset, getting a sudden new sound each time.

A script or randomize ability would be a nifty twist on preset surfing/tweaking.

Post

The randomize script randomizes the XY setup as opposed to XY positions - so you can randomise your current preset in 8 directions, in an non-destructive way, just by moving the XYs :)

Post

Should I be able to see that on the XY tab in the lower portion of Zebra2?

I've pulled up several XY enabled patches, and this preset doesn't appear to change the XY knobs (it should NOT, per your comment above), target selector, range bar/markers, or anything XY related. That's what confuses me...
