It just shows as golden whenever somebody posts to it after my latest post. I have no idea how to turn that off selectively for a thread, and just need to learn more self-control, I think....

It doesn't show as 'Watched' in my profile. When you go to 'My posts', you get a list of all your posts sorted by date, most recent at the top.

Nonono, sir, you need to stay up to date with this thread until it's either getting locked or until the amp sim will be released! In other words: Forever!

It is intersting to look at this curve; the curve of the graph was heading towards 2007-01-01...BertKoor wrote:MrM wrote:I have to be honest; the countdown is suspended.

Yes, it was heading to 01-01. It still is: of the year 2010
But I have a little theory....
There are ten beta-testers. When each of them says the amp is alright to release then MrM counts one down. Alas three of them still suffer from an annoying bug or defiancy which MidiWorks is unable to fix.
I have another theory that explains why MrM publishes info about the release schedule of MidiWorks amp sim...

Please tell me you aren't serious with that question and your post hasn't been anything more but the usual bump.
It's just too clear that this ampsim will never see the realm of being used in whatever DAW.

No this is not a bump!
I've PM'd Rene, but lately he doesn't respond me.
I just want to know if I can unlock my seatbelt...
I used to believe Rene was going to release it, but now that he doesn't even respond me, I want to know if there are others that do get an answer from him. Or has he gone silent?

I've been talking to him about the issue many moons ago.
No reply anymore since then either.
Well, who cares? I don't.
Seriously, I wanted him to be successful, but with a development speed like this he'd better look for any other profession.
