No, you cannot control AT2 (at least not standalone) with a midi pedalboard.

The only way you can do it with the plugin is to use host automation.

We have been requesting a few missing features for AT2, hopefully they will be implemented in the next release.

Post

Do you know if AT2 users will get a discount on the JH edition? Sorry if that has already been answered here.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Bump...LOL
I just had to post in this thread.
Or is it a sweater now ?

But still no real release date given. This is IK Multimedia we're talking about, after all. "This quarter" rarely actually means this quarter with them, or even necessarily this year. Just as Squids had said that CSR would be losing the dongle last month, but even that came and went with no such update.

IK Multimedia wrote:Universal Update for CSR Now Available
Mac Intel compatibility and other important enhancements

A download for the new Classik Studio Reverb 1.1 is now available, providing compatibility for IK registered users with Mac Intel Systems. CSR users may download this software update for free and will no longer require a USB iKey or dongle.

In addition to Mac Intel compatibility and dongle-free operation, CSR 1.1 is now fully Pro Tools 7 compliant.

Click here to enter the IK User Area and download the free Universal update for CSR 1.1. Please be sure to review the "Readme" file and read the Installation and User Manual for information on how to install the update.

A new free demo of CSR 1.1 is also available. The demo is fully functional for a grace period of ten days and does not require a USB iKey or dongle. Click here to download the free demo of CSR 1.1.

More updates for IK software will soon be available for download from the IK Web site. For more information regarding the remained of the Universal updates for IK's music production tools, please click here to view the IK news and Mac Intel Calendar.
The PC version should be following shortly.

EDIT:
But now AmpliTube 2 Jimi Hendrix Edition appears to have been removed from the AmpliTube 2 products menu! I remember IK Multimedia did this with AmpliTube 2 when it was delayed for a year and a half, completely scrubbing the site of even any reference to its existence.

At least the ATJH product page is still on the site for now, accessible through the NAMM'07 news announcement.

Yes, I did notice that as well. I hope it is not a conflict between IKMM and the Jimmy Hendrix Authenic foundation over licensing rights and such...

I will download the CSR demo and see what the buzz is all about

Amplitube 2 does sound good. It's very musical.

Yes, but the real question is: can YOU make your fart musical?

Oh, btw, for all you StealthPLUG owners, there are new stealthPlug drivers released today.
A StealthPlug drivers update for users with Windows XP is now available from the IK User Area. This update will provide:

Added support for the following sampling rates:
44.100kHz
32kHz
22.05kHz
16kHz
11.025kHz
8kHz

Added support for the following buffer sizes:
128
256
512
I know a lot of you have been waiting on this one.

Undongled CSR?!?! Yay! Now I can finally download the demo and see for myself if this thing is as good as everyone says.

That's a shame that the site mentions nothing of the JH edition of AT2. I am looking forward to that one.

Let's all sing again...
