IVORY Problems

I have installed Ivory as directed on the website using the userinstallable files. The install was successful. Then I copied the samples from my old hard drive to the receptor into Ivory Items in the samples folder. Now I try to load samples into an instance of Ivory, the presets load, but no Keysets are found (the menu is actually empty). Please help!

I installed Ivory directly on to Receptor (I was not running it on another computer)and did not have any install or authorization problems - and it works great. I believe you need to also authorize Ivory for use on your Receptor if you were running it on another computer. Perhaps you did this, but your post does not indicate a successful authorization. If you have already done this, maybe try reinstalling the library from the DVDs rather than coping from the old hard drive. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Recalled one more thing regarding my Ivory install - You have to "receptorize" the library. I believe it was under the setup - plug in tools menu - library tools IIRC. I believe I went through this twice before I got an error free library. This step was listed either at plugorama or in the Ivory manual. Just another thought - good luck

Gosh...Step 1 in front of my face the whole time. Its amazing how we miss these things sometime....I had forgotten to "receptorize" the library...thank you for helping me with that...simple case of staring at the screen too long I guess

I don't suppose you have any input on how to now Update Ivory? and to add Beyond Piano to the mix...or is it currently unsupported by Receptor?

Been there done that - with regards to missing the obvious. I believe we'll have to get in line with all the others waiting for updates on all the other products. Muse announced at NAMM that Ivory's Italian Grand was forthcoming - still waiting for that. Hopefully when Italian Grand is ready it will include any other updates. I believe that Italian Grand requires Ivory 1.6 - the current Receptor Ivory is 1.5. Anyway, enjoy Ivory it's working really well for me.
