Kontakt 2*8 and Kontakt 2*16

I have three flavours of Kontakt 2 on my Receptor, Kontakt 2 Kontakt 2*8 & Kontakt 2*16. I wanted to create an instance of the Kontakt 2*8 to reduce memory consumption but found that there were no libraries associated it with it at all. I'd had have to go and receptorise these myself. Instead of this I thought I'd just copy the patches from the ones under the Kontakt 2 folder, but it says I don't have user writes, My question is three fold:-
Firstly, has anyone else experienced this problem (i.e. no patches receptorised for K2*8 and K2*16?)
Secondly, does anybody else have these three flavours of Kontakt 2 installed. (They appeared after using the latest install)
Thirdly, does anybody know how I might be able to get write permissions to the other Kontakt folders so that I can copy the patches patches from the Kontakt 2 folder over to K2*8 and K2*16?
Thanks so much Guys!

Hi there
I haven't looked into the write permission stuff so sorry can't help you there. However the K2*8 and K2*16 are multiple output versions of Kontakt eg 8 and 16 outputs. That is my understanding btw and yes we would all have the 3 versions as part of that install.
Cheers

Thanks ksiragusa, how about your patches? Do you have any preconfigured patches under K2*8 or K2*16? Many Thanks.

Yes, there are no receptorised patch support for the multi output versions.philosorhymes wrote:I have three flavours of Kontakt 2 on my Receptor, Kontakt 2 Kontakt 2*8 & Kontakt 2*16. Yes, the latest kontakt2 updater includes all three flavours. This was part of the NI update for Kontakt2..Secondly, does anybody else have these three flavours of Kontakt 2 installed. (They appeared after using the latest install)
Unfortunately the regular Kontakt patches wont work on the multi output version, even if u copy them to the multi output version folders. The different flavours of Kontakt use different ID's which disables the original receptor fxps to work on all the flavours. U would have to manually save the receptor patches of interest. It would have taken us a lot longer to release the update if we had to save these 1000s of patches for all the different flavours. Sorry for the inconvenience..Thirdly, does anybody know how I might be able to get write permissions to the other Kontakt folders so that I can copy the patches patches from the Kontakt 2 folder over to K2*8 and K2*16?

Perhaps the regular Kontakt FXPs could be bulk modified to contain the ID's for the multi-out versions, assuming that the IDs are known, and that the FXP files are otherwise similar. I'd be willing to do this if someone wants to PM or e-mail me so we can try a few experiments.
