Strange ... I did a few tests with Tracktion 2 and Sylenth and didn't notice any issues. Could you be a little more specific so that I'm warned?Lennard wrote:Well, there are still some issues with FL Studio and Tracktion that need to be solved, there will be a preset browser, improved MIDI learn functionality for all knobs and controls, and a large part of the user interface needs to be rewritten to get it working on Mac. These are some of the things that are on top of the list.

It seems that the sound may stutter a bit when you use multiple instances of Sylenth1 and MIDI program changes don't always work correctly in Tracktion.opus_diaboli wrote:Strange ... With all these suggestions being slowly and surely implemented, this synth is quickly growing into one mother of a synth! A Moog Modular killer!
I was blown away when I heard some of those new presets on 1.2!
Especially the ones that are also on z3ta+, it seems Lennard has come full circle!

Yes, I agree. I'm not a synth specialist since I mostly agonize my piano, but I did a lot of tests with different VSTi synths and Sylenth is for sure one of the best of them.

Is it possible this is also happening in Sonar and ACID as well? I've been doing a lot of work recently with Sylenth and have had a chance to get into Sylenth much more than before... I find I'm really enjoying using Sylenth so I'm using more than one instance regularly, and I've noticed both Sonar (in 6.2 and latest version 6.2.1) periodically, randomly gap/stutter when I have more than 1 Sylenth running. This seems to also happen in ACID Pro (latest version 6.0d). I CANNOT reproduce it at will. It is totally random. And I have NOT 100% narrowed it down to Sylenth. I just see a pattern with the compositions that are giving me trouble and Sylenth is one of a couple common denominators. It could be another plugin giving me issues. System resource use is low on these compositions (under 30% CPU use) so that's why this is so surprising. I am just wondering if you know of a possibility that something could be going on in Sonar or ACID Pro with Sylenth.Lennard wrote:It seems that the sound may stutter a bit when you use multiple instances of Sylenth1 and MIDI program changes don't always work correctly in Tracktion.opus_diaboli wrote:Strange ... I have also tested multiple instances of Sylenth in Cubase and Live without any gapping so far. Live seems, amazingly, the most solid of environments with Sylenth, so far, but I haven't pushed it hard yet.
I will do some more testing and try to narrow things down more... just fielding a preliminary query to see if it will save me time.
I'm running Sylenth 1.20.1 on a very solid Core 2 Duo Win XP Pro SP2 system with rock solid Lynx drivers. The system is carefully tuned for DAW work (I know what I'm doing

Have you tried eliminating all the plugs and run sylenth alone? It would seem that this may at least isolate the synth as being the culprit.

Yes, but it's more complicated than that. I've already mentioned it's not reproduceable yet. I'm trying to get it there. Removing the other plugins doesn't prove enough yet since the CPU load then plummets to almost nothing. I've done the quick obvious things and the next step is to create a series of more demanding tests with Sylenth to see what happens. I just want to save time by not having to do that if someone else can already confirm this issue with Sylenth and Sonar or ACID Pro, specifically. Hope that makes sense.

hello,
old topic, but no need to make a new one...
some extra things where postet allready but noch released:
1.) more wave forms incl. separat true PWM option for each osc
2.) more matrix (modulation) options ( for more routing options)
3.) distortion option for A and B (to distort only one of them or both)
4.) more distortion options (like multidistortion etc)
5.) unison option
6.) sub osc
7.) 3 band eq
8.) copy paste funktion for: LFO 1 und LFO 2
9.) swing option for the ARP
10.) osc sync and ringmodulation
that would be great for the next full update
regards,
r.
p.s. please excuse my bad english

Same for the sub osc... you have 4 osc already. Why do you need another one?AzureWave wrote:Isn't 8 voices per oscillator enough!rmtek wrote: 5.) unison option

Hi Lennard
My wish list would be.
Velocity to Env/Filter instead of trying to balance the two routings of env > filter and velocity > filter.
More modulation routings.
ADSR slope time.
Mono Legato mode please (note retriggering)
If you can do these then i'm set.
