help installing B4

I have bought a crossgrade for the B4 organ. when i download the installer and then drag it into the "drop installers here" folder, the install fails when I press the "plug in tools" button in the setup window.

what can I check to make sure I haven't done anything wrong?
when I downloaded the ilok license, it didn't find my ilok so I pulled it out and put it in my G5 usb slot instead, I am now worried that this might have been a stupid thing to do! what do I do now?

It's already in the box, most likely. Look for it when you select an instrument plug. I'm not clear what you did to or with the iLok, but the process of authorization can be a bit confusing the first couple of times.
