Record player: the movie Les Vacances de Mr Hulot (Mister Hulot's Vacation?) has an obnoxious background tune. At one point there is no music and a character in the film puts on a record, which turns out to play that tune. That's just about my favourite gag in that film.
If memory serves, I believe lyrics were written later and performed by Nat King Cole (and later by others).
Johnny Mercer, tune by David Raksin. This song is btw the archetype of II-V-I progressions. Also remarkable because the tonic chord really only appears as the final chord (there is one transitional I7).
