Snapshot question / multitimberal instruments

Hi snapshot experts,

i'm at work thinking about my receptor and using my new-found snapshot knowledge thanks to being pointed to the v1.5 addendum, but a question:

snapshots change mixer settings .. is the midi listen/play parameters part of that?

Specifically, I'm thinking that i could load different sampletank instruments on different midi channels in sampletank, and by changing the 'play' midi parameter and saving as a snapshot, play the different midichannels quickly without loading. I guess that would go for any multitimberal instrument.

I can't wait to go home and try this, but wondered if anyone was currently using snapshots that way successfully. Seems like a good way to get a lot out of your multitimberal instruments without having to send bank/program select changes from the controller. You could preset up to 16 sounds (for instruments that support it) and have fast access to them.

update for anyone interested: midi listen/play settings are saved as part of snapshots! very cool. really opens up a lot of possibilities for me. Now if i could just figure out how to use custom samples with sampletank on the receptor .. or better yet, if muse would release whatever it is that gets K4 to work!!!!
