Hi gizmo,
I just finished installing RMX on my receptor. The installer failed for me (at least that was what the message said on the System tab), however, I was still able to authorize and run RMX afterwards. I simply ignored the failure, continued with the rest of the installation instructions, and it worked.
I know, this sounds crazy - but I'm guessing that there was a simple bug in the installer.

Nope- it failed because it is ALREADY installed on the box and just needs to be activated. The installer you were trying to run is on the box, so a replacement failed. No biggie.

thanks both for the replies. I though about the fact that it might already be there and causing the failure (think i had the same issue w/ the atmoshpere prep file!), so took looneytunes advise and just went ahead with it and it works perfectly! Just surprised a prep file is that small considering the others I've downloaded.
This box is a K4 installer away from being the most unbelievable piece of gear I own! Exciting times for my live performance rig, and i'll be dragging it into the studio in april.
