VST MIDI Out + Audio Out Recording (just for Mixer FX Monitoring/Hybrid Engine): Now you can record VSTi audio outputs for VSTi return tracks by activating recording in these tracks as you would do normally. "MIDI Out" can be activated for every track VST plug-in or VSTi in the Plug-in Panel menu. This causes MIDI data of the VSTi to be sent and recorded in another track. By activating the option "VST MIDI Out recording" on a track you can record all received VSTi MIDI Out data in the corresponding track. If MIDI Thru is activated, this signal can also be routed to another VSTi/VST-FX or external MIDI device.
Included in press release for samp 9.1

It means that our plugins that output MIDI CC messages can now be used in real time within Samplitude.
With previous versions you had to do the following:
Digital Peak Meter Pro in Samplitude Tutorial - Automation
And now you will be able to use the output of our plugins in real time, as shown in this voice over example:
Voice Over Tutorial in Sonar
For more information about these analysis tools, see the audio analysis plugins page.

Hey cat, I'm demoing the dynamics plugg and when I try to render , I get the dialog box that says "only one instance" and things lock. Is this a demo only behavior?(probably) By the way with full oversamplimg and my p4 1.8m 1 gb ram xp system, WL shows only 36% usage for the plugg and It sounds great! Can you say "Mastering Comp"???!! think you'll be recieving some buisness soon!! Very Innovative plugg...
Financial solvency and KVR Mix as well as oil and water.

Thanks for the link. We'll work on a new tutorial thanks to this demo!
The "One instance only" is a demo limitation, of course! When you say "everything locks", does it means you cannot continue uysing the software after this panel? This is not supposed to occur...contrary wrote:Hey cat, I'm demoing the dynamics plugg and when I try to render , I get the dialog box that says "only one instance" and things lock. Glad to see you like it. Note that in many cases you do not need the full oversampling, so that you can use it as a track comp as well. In this case it should only use around 4% CPU.By the way with full oversamplimg and my p4 1.8m 1 gb ram xp system, WL shows only 36% usage for the plugg and It sounds great! Well I tested and repeated the same issue. I'm using wavelab 6 and everything sounds and works great in real time but when I push render in the master section poof! the "one instance" dialog pops up and WL stops responding. I'm not getting why an attempt to freeze (render) the changes in the file is making the comp think that I'm trying to open another instance. There ya go , now I'm a tester who found a bug

I'm not sure the demo is going to be 9.1 .............. it's just out and I don't know if it can be applied to the demo version? before this weekend everything was 9.02 ; guess you'll have to see.Blue Cat Audio wrote:Thanks for the link. We'll work on a new tutorial thanks to this demo!

I think it's just because wavelab is actually duplicating the plugin without you knowing it... But anyway it's strange that the application freezes (maybe because it does not support the fact that the plugin instanciation fails). We'll see what we can do about this issue on the demo version. Fortunately it won't happen with the non-demo version.contrary wrote:Well I tested and repeated the same issue. As far as I undestand you use both Wavelab and Samplitude, am I right?
