I take it back! I was just exaggerating, because we're excited, and want it right now. It just feels like 2010.

Ok, apologies accepted...
:hihi:

I understand you think it is 2010. I think like that too sometimes, when I realize I need to find a job or do some more studies at 26yo...
But it is almost finished, so I have some hopes it wont be too long now...

Post

I think this has great potential (tho the amputated hand is a little too gothic), however the sound is almost too clean.

I've not gone thru the whole thread, but will there be stuff like string squeaks included?
Want to change your additive synth into an addictive one? You just need 5000 Cs!

You're almost done! Well, why didn't you say so. I'll leave you alone. Do more studies, drink more beer, just in case. :D

the amputed hand is not definitive - nothing really is.

did you see the video and listened to the mp3?
It sure has squeaks; strange you did not hear them cause I felt they were almost too loud...

You'll probably need headphones or good speakers to hear everything. There are several squeaks "in the air" at the begining of "cannonball" vid.

Post

FYI, Mokafix: I listened to the Breeders one on headphones, and I could barely hear it; I had to crank it up 600%, and I couldn't hear any string squeaks.

Post

ok, i'll make them more obvious.

Post

I heard them very well. I'm extremely amazed by this.
My host is better than your host

Well, no, I'm sure they're fine - what I'm saying is the volume on the video was really, really quiet. That's all.

Post

I don't know if it was necessary or not, but I did two more mp3 with emphasized squeaks;
they are probably too obvious musically speaking now, but it is interesting anyway, cause it let you hear how various they can be depending on movement changes, speed, and how they can sound different depending on pickups or pick positions (pickups at the bridge are more sensitive to high freqs).

Man, that sounds great. I salivate. :hyper:

Yes, you're right. I hadn't heard your latest two mp3s and there certainly are squeaks aplenty in them :)

BTW, will you have a Ricky emulation in the bass package?

Thx
