I tried installing all three camel audio products I own. I am a mac user but have paralells so I installed them there use live 6 to open them to put serial numbers and brought them back on the os x side. tried puttinghtem (Onr at a time) in un spported files and fail everytime

Man, I would apreciate if someone could at least try to give me some feedback on a solution

You are going to have to have access to a PC. Install the PC version. Move the DLL and other files to a new folder under "unsupported"...install. I've done it with all the Camel stuff, so I know it works...But the trick is having access to the INSTALLED PC version (the installer/exe won't do you any good).

I have Down loads left from CA lounge, ANd I Down loded the win xp version and did that in the paralells emulator. should that have done. I am not sure if I am following you . If I have the winXP version could I do it in Bootacmp xince I have xp instlled there too. and when You say a new folder do I just make a new folder and put all the files in there. it seems when I did it(installed the version I had a .dll file and then a folder named camelspace data, and in there was the other files like a midi cfg, system cfg with the serial number etc.

OK I got camel space and phat installedbut wehhn I try to open the plugin to look at it there nothing there. I know it is going to the edit page acuse I see it load there is just only the mixer there. also I had ca5000 loaded but I only had a init sound . when I looked at the preset bans they are ,ya know, c51,v5i ,stuff like that but no fxb's

I have no clue what a "paralells emulator" is, sorry.

I think you could do this on any XP installation, boot camp should work, as long as you have the products installed and working on XP.

It's been a while since I installed them, but I just looked at my PC and receptor and this is what I found: I installed all three Camel products into one dir on my pc...C:\Program Files\vstplugins\camelaudio. This dir has three sub-dirs in it for "data" from each product, as well as the dlls for the three products and some other files (CA5000.dpm, CA5000Config.txt, etc). I think all I did to install them was put the whole directory and all contents on the receptor (resulting in \Program Files\VST Plugins\Unsupported Plugins\CamelAudio) and installed as unsupported. I may have had to re-enter serial numbers when I launched them for the first time.

thanks,yea paralells is a program to let you run xp in a window on osx desktop. regardless I did get them installed but now I have other issues, ( FYI I do own these so I am not daeling with hacked crap or something, I canr stand when someone tries to get something running they dont own) now I can start the plugin but if I go to edit the creen doesnt come up. also some of the banks appear as blank but I can see the name in the window

No clue dude. I checked on my Receptor and all the GUI's come up and they all work. to be honest I haven't used them all that much, but they do appear to work just fine for me. Make sure you copied ALL of the files in the folder from the PC. Also, you might check the system log on the Receptor and see if you get any message that might help, like a dll file missing or something. Lastly, if you aren't on OS 1.5 for the Receptor, upgrade it to OS 1.5.

Thats odd. I did the same that Hybernation did and it works perfectly. Both Camel Space and Camel Phat. I hope you get it working because they are my go to plugs on the Receptor for Guitar sound creation.

SOmeone ,Actuayy Tim from camel audio is trying to help me get it up one thing I didnt do was a clear sys cache , maybe that will help I will keep yall posted. thanks for responding

Hey Guys, first , man , sorry about my spelling, there si no excuse except that I just hit it beofre I look, and I am not that great fo a typist. As directed, with clearing the cache camel space and phat are working. One thing to note, I had to have the conf txt in the data folder for it to accept the serial number. As Far as CA5000,Tim, sent me a list of files to make sure I have and there is two I cant find. One is a CA5000.drm and the other I think was a CA5000.rsr.drm, Or something Like that. I am Going to wait to see what he says about those before I try to install it. I do know I did have it installed but all the banks werent showing up. That is ,of course, before I cleared the cache
